JEAN MC COWN April 26, 1921 - December 1, 2008ANDERSON, SCEugenia 'Jean' Campbell McCown, age 87, formerly of 1900 Boulevard Heights, passed away Monday, December 1, 2008 at Brookside Living Center.She was a much loved mother, wife and grandmother who was totally devoted to her family. Born in Seneca, SC, Mrs. McCown was the daughter of the late Henry Bert Campbell and Lou M. Campbell. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Anderson and the Blanche Holcombe Sunday School class. Surviving are her husband of 67 years, Edward M. McCown, retired Anderson Police Chief; a daughter, Suzanne Moore and her husband, Jerry Moore of Anderson; a son, Edward Jackson (Jack) McCown, Jr., and his wife, Donna Dilworth McCown of Tuscaloosa, AL; three grandchildren: Andrea Moore Bach and her husband, Bruce Bach of Fort Myers, FL; Christopher and Ellen McCown of Tuscaloosa, AL; two great-granddaughters: Claire Jean Bach and Kate Suzanne Bach of Fort Myers, FL.She was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice C. Schneider of Baltimore, MD and Sarah C. McDaniel of Grafton, WVA; and two brothers, Jack Campbell of Beaumont, TX, and Joe Campbell of Washington, DC.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Dr. James R. Thomason. Interment will follow in Old Silver Brook Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.The family is at the home of the daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne & Jerry Moore, 2800 LeConte Road, Anderson.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621 or Gideons International, P.O.
