Eunice Cobb Townville, SC Eunice Ruby Hightower Cobb, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at NHC of Anderson. Born in Seneca, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Duckworth Hightower and the late Evie Savannah Payne Hightower. She retired from textiles after many years. She was a loyal member of Oakdale Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir. She is survived by her children, Boyd Lee Cobb, Floyd Steven Cobb, David Timothy Cobb, Sharon Darlene Norton, and Patricia Ann Sammons; a brother, Julian Douglas Hightower; a sister, Frances Louise Holbrooks Tate; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred J. Cobb; brothers, Lee, Hoyt, Grady, Richard, James, and Benjamin Hightower; and sisters, Kathleen Hightower, Lillie Mae Martin, Eugenia Holbrooks, Becky Tate, Ruth Hester, and Florence Miller. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, April 10, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. with Reverend Dr. David Blizzard officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
