The McDougald Funeral Home2211 North Main StreetAnderson, SC 29621864-224-4343OBITUARY EUNICE BOLT HAYNIE April 1, 1913 - March 23, 2010ANDERSON, SCEunice Gilreath Bolt Haynie, age 96, of Anderson, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Ellenburg Nursing Center.Born in Anderson, SC on April 1, 1913, Mrs. Haynie was a daughter of the late Joseph A. Gilreath and Lisa Telford Gilreath. She was the former owner of Pop's Fun Center and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Mrs. Haynie was the oldest member of Mountain Creek Baptist church where she attended the Golden Rule Sunday School class. Survivors include her son, James Bolt and his wife, Jay; daughters, Joyce Emory and her husband, David, and Brenda Atkins and her husband, Larry; daughter-in-law, Anita Bolt all of Anderson, SC; brother, Buddy Gilreath of Orlando, FL; sisters, Ruby Acker, Mildred Evans and Loretta Cole of Anderson. SC ; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Claude T. Bolt; second husband, Buford Haynie, Sr.; son, Ray Bolt; brothers, Guy and Clyde Gilreath; sisters, Annie Black, Carolyn Macomson and Bertha Anderson.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Ray Thompson, the Reverend Dr. Frank Whitfield and the Reverend Delennon Stowe. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will be at the home of her daughter, Brenda Atkins, 500 Windfield Drive, Anderson and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, March 25, 2010 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm.Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Mountain Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 3407 US 29 South, Anderson, SC 29624.The family would like to thank her church family and many friends for their care, generosity and love shown to Mrs. Haynie.
