Malmin, 88, of Anderson, SC, formerly of Peterson, MN, died Sunday, October 15, 2006 at the NHC Health Care of Anderson.She was born December 21, 1917 to Einar and Pauline Rasmussen Erickson. She graduated from Peterson High School in 1936 and married Allan Malmin on December 28, 1938.She was a homemaker and worked with her husband in his construction business. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and active in circles, Ladies Aid, and a member of Gilbert-Rude American Legion Auxiliary.A beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Mrs. Malmin is survived by a daughter, Zona Roesler of Anderson, SC; two sons, Karl Malmin and his wife Dee Ann of Maggie Valley, NC, and Charles Malmin and his wife Beverly of Waynesville, NC; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, three sisters, a granddaughter, and a son-in-law.After the cremation a Memorial Service will be held in Peterson, MN at Grace Lutheran Church at a later date.
