EVA ADDIS TAYLOR June 20, 1908 - June 2, 2006PENDLETON, SCMrs. Eva Addis Taylor, age 97, of 2324 Six & Twenty Road, Pendleton, SC, and also for the last 8 years, a resident of NHC HealthCare of Anderson, wife of the late George W. Taylor, died Friday, June 02, 2006 at the Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Oconee County, SC on June 20, 1908, Mrs. Taylor was the daughter of the late William Addis and Mary Gaston Addis and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a homemaker and much loved and respected member of her community. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church, the T.E.L. Sunday School class, the W.M.U. and the Best is yet to be Seniors Group and was active in her church as long as her health permitted. Mrs. Taylor was an avid gardener and will be remembered for her beautiful flower gardens and vegetable gardens. She is survived by sons, Harold Taylor and his wife, Betty of Abbeville, Roy Taylor and his wife, Charlotte of Pendleton, and Gary Taylor and his wife, Betty of Belton; daughters, Doris Hopper and her husband, Gene of New Smyrna Beach, FL (she will be located at the Bobo residence, 2240 Six & Twenty Road, Pendleton.) Madolon Dalrymple and her husband, Jerry of Pendleton, Emily Bobo and her husband, Alton of Pendleton; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; special nephew, Clifton Addis and his wife, Cathey of Blythwood, SC.The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2006 at 12:00 Noon at Lebanon Baptist Church officiated by the Reverend Jason Webb. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.The family will be at their respective homes.Flowers are optional.
