Evelyn Norris Beusse, age 93, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 1, 2024.

Born November 15, 1930, in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Angus and Lettie Lecroy Norris. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Anderson.

She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Joe Douglas Beusse; two sons, Joe Douglas Beusse, Jr. and his wife Mary Del Beusse, and Alan Lee Beusse and his wife Paulette Beusse; two daughters, Susan Beusse Noel and Cynthia Beusse Burriss and her husband Dan Burriss; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 8 siblings.

Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and hosting her Sunday School class. Evelyn and Joe enjoyed square dancing and traveling during their retirement years.

A private graveside service will be held on January 3, 2024, at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
