SC on August 8, 1951, Mrs. Erwin was a daughter of Margaret Ophelia Bryant Burgess and the late Joseph David Burgess, Sr. She attended Gethsemane Baptist Temple.Survivors include her husband, William Erwin of the home; mother, Margaret Ophelia Bryant Burgess of Florida; sons, Benjamin G. Erwin and Raymond C. Erwin and step-son, William E. Erwin, all of Anderson; brother, James Burgess and his wife, Helen of Seneca; sister, Missy Swanson of Florida; four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Burgess, Jr.A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Old Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson officiated by the Reverends Kenny Owens and Scott Buchanan.
