Evelyn Darline Frankum Hunter, 71, of Anderson, SC, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Condor Health of Anderson. Born December 1, 1948 in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Bertha Garner Frankum. Evelyn was a graduate of Forrest College and worked in the textile industry. She was a member of Belmont Church of God of Prophecy. She is survived by her devoted husband, Edward Hunter; son, Mark McClain of Fountain Inn; daughter, Tabitha McClain of Anderson; brother, Johnny Frankum (Debrah) of Anderson; sisters, Wendell Brown (Johnny) of Iva and Montez Valley (Robert) of Anderson; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Troy and David McClain; and brother, Billy Frankum. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Rhodes and Rev. Bill Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Flowers will be accepted. The family will be at their respective homes.
