EVELYN PRUITT MANNING ANDERSON, SC Evelyn Pruitt Manning, wife of the late Richard Irving "Dick" Manning, of 143 Summit Court, Anderson, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012, at the Callie and John Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. Born in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Frank Pruitt and the late Mallie Hanks Pruitt. She was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church where she was active in the Mary O. Holler Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Anderson Woman's Club. Mrs. Manning was a longtime associate of Andco Feed and Seed and later retired from O'Neal Seed Co. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John "Evelyn" Farr, Jr. of Anderson, SC; one sister, Rachel P. Davis of Charleston, SC; two grandchildren, Colonel John F. (Julia) Farr III, M.D. of Augusta, GA and Richard C. Farr of Charleston, SC; and two great-granddaughters, Sarah Margaret Farr and Catherine Manning Farr of Augusta, GA. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at 2 PM at The Mausoleum Chapel at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Reverend Dan Batson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at Forest Lawn.
