Evelyn Branyon Oliver, age 95, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025, at Rainey Hospice House.

Born December 10, 1929, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late J.P. Branyon and Bertie Anderson Branyon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lucien Whitt Oliver and her brothers, Ernest, Ralph, Emory and Max Branyon.

She retired from Singer after over 20 years of service on the assembly line. Evelyn was a faithful member of Oakwood Baptist Church and dearly loved her Sunday School class. She enjoyed reading her Sunday School lessons, playing putt putt with her granddaughter and eating at Mama Penn's with her dear friends. Traveling, working on puzzles, reading and cutting grass were some of her favorite pastimes. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.

She is survived by her son, Greg Oliver (Angie) of Easley; a granddaughter, Madison Oliver (Aaron) of Easley and sisters, Lorrene Branyon Thrasher and Judy Branyon Brown of Anderson.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oakwood Baptist Church, 304 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625.
