He was a graduate of Lowndesville High School and was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Philippians. Mr. Hanna retired from Abbeville Mills ' Milliken Plant with over 40 years of service. He was a Member of Smyrna United Methodist Church.Survivors include his son, Eldridge Hanna Jr., and his wife, Janice of Lowndesville, SC; grandson, Justin Hanna and his wife, Tiffany; two great-granddaughters, Kenzly and Justine; brothers, Howard, Marshall and Edwin Hanna and sister, Evelyn Crittendon.In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Talmadge and Vincent Hanna and sister, Virginia Latham.A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 18, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Smyrna Cemetery officiated by the Reverends Eric Shepard, Scotty Willoughby and Shaun Armstrong.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, July 17, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.A message of condolence may be sent by visiting www.mcdougaldfuneral home.comMC DOUGALD FUNERAL HOME, Anderson, SC
