BROWN September 25, 1930 - June 29, 2010IVA, SCFannie 'Dusty' Ruth Bell Brown, age 79, formerly of 338 Drake Circle, wife of the late Rev. William 'Bill' Troy Brown, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Born in Oconee County, SC on September 25, 1930, Mrs. Brown was a daughter of the late William Benny Bell and Daisy Mae Wilson Cole. She was a homemaker and a wonderful cook. Mrs. Brown was of the Baptist Faith and loved the Lord and His Word.Survivors include her sons, William Brown and his wife, Brenda of Iva and David Wayne Brown and his wife, Frankie of Nauvoo, AL; daughters, Linda Black, Sue Holmes and her husband, Mike, of Anderson and Mary Simpson and her husband, Theron of Iva; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Henry Herbert Brown and a sister, Maggie Bell.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Sam Duncan.
