ANDERSON, SC'Fannie Sue Junkins Sanders, age 94, formerly of 501 Sunset Drive, wife of the late C.W. 'Fat' Sanders, Anderson, SC died Sunday, March 12, 2006 at Ellenburg Nursing Center, Anderson, SC.Born in Hartwell, GA on July 31, 1911, Mrs. Sanders was a daughter of the late Frank Junkins and the late Resse Sue Vickery Junkins. She retired from textiles and was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church in Anderson, SC.Mrs. Sanders is survived by two sons, Billy Sanders and his wife, Gail Galloway Sanders of Anderson, SC and B. Gary Sanders and his wife Peggy Fleming Sanders of Anderson, SC; eight grandchildren, Steve Sanders, Victor Sanders, Chris Sanders, Billy Sanders, Jr., Ken Sanders, Pam Brooks, Dina Johnson, and Joey Campbell; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Sanders was preceded in death by four brothers, Bill, Dorsey, George, and Welton Junkins and three sisters, Mattie Lou Shiflett, Laveder Junkins, and Inez Ware.The family is at the home of Billy Sanders, 215 Loblolly Drive, Anderson, SC.
