RUTH DAVID SCOGGINS May 18, 1925 - January 17, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Fannie Ruth David Scoggins, age 81, of 100 Q Street, wife of the late J. P. Scoggins, died Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at the Hospice House in Anderson, SC.Born in Anderson, SC on May 18, 1925, Mrs. Scoggins was a daughter of Maude Mitchell David of Starr and the late Julian M. David. She had previously worked in textiles for forty years and retired from BASF. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.Survivors include her mother, of Starr; three sisters, Margaret Catherine Dean of Anderson, Cornelia Entrekin of Starr and Linda Shaw of Anderson; three grandchildren Johnny Holmes, Randy Holmes and Tracy Farrow, all of Anderson and four great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Gail Scoggins Farrow; granddaughter, Wanda Hanna and brother, Julian Miles 'Sonny' David, Jr.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2007 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Ken Johnson.
