Alma Faye Driver Helton, 78, of Anderson, SC, entered her Heavenly home on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at her residence. Born February 19, 1941 in Hartwell, GA, she was a daughter of the late George Edgar Driver and Leona Bruce Driver. She was married to the late James Willard Helton. Faye was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple and sang in the choir. She is survived by her sons, W. Clayton Burdette of Anderson, SC and Grover C. Burdette (Lana) of Starr, SC; daughter, Sheila Lance of Anderson, SC; brother, Kenneth Driver (Betty) of Antreville, SC; sisters, Lynda Schall (James) of Greenville, SC and Donna Davenport of Greenwood, SC; grandchildren, Eric Burdette, Erin Nubern, Harley Burdette, Faith Burdette and Lillian Faye Skye Burdette; and great grandchildren, Rylee, Austin, Landen, Emma, Asa, Jacob, Audan, Sheldyn and Pelham. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her great grandson, Jacob Burdette; and four brothers. The family will receive friends from 11:00am-12:30pm Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Gethsemane Baptist Temple. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm with Rev. Tony Walker and Rev. Jim Schall officiating. Burial will follow in Fellowship Wesleyan Church Cemetery.
