Obituary

Dorothy Faye Taylor Stovall, wife of "Dub" Stovall, age 89, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Rainey Hospice House.

Born in Westminster, SC on June 26, 1935, she was the daughter of the late William Harold Taylor, Sr. and the late Daphne Hair Taylor.

She was an active member of Eureka Baptist church where she served as the nursery coordinator for many years and was a leader of the G.A. Girls. She also established a greeting card ministry at the church which lasted for over 60 years.

She is survived by her husband, William Tanner "Dub" Stovall; a nephew, Greg Watt; nieces, Melanie Watt, Pam Benedict, Cindy Taylor, and Susan Kicklighter (Trey); and great nephews, Caleb Kierstead, Bode Kicklighter and Hayes Kicklighter and a nephew-in-law, Rev. Scott Kierstead.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, W.H. "Bill" Taylor, Jr., Jimmy Taylor and a sister, Barbara "Bobbie" Watt and a niece, Leslie Watt Kierstead.

A crypt side service will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 12 noon at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum 6 with the Rev. Scott Kierstead officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
