Florence Ryan Dias Greenville, SC Florence Ryan Dias, age 92, of Greenville, SC, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Pendleton Manor Assisted Living in Greenville. Born in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Florence Tomlinson Ryan. Florence was a graduate of St. Joseph's College in NY. She was a teacher with Anderson School District Five for over 12 years, during her time with the school district, she also taught parenting classes. She was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church and St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Anderson. At St. Mary, she was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis. At St. Joseph's she taught CCD classes for over 20 years, an instructor for RCIA and was also involved with the Catholic Youth Organization. Florence was also a Eucharistic Minister. She is survived by her children, daughters; Denise More Dias of Greenville and Deirdre Anne MacDonald of Yuma, AZ; five sons; Kilian Mark Dias of Hartsville, SC. Brendan Lawrence Dias of Anderson, Mel Louis Dias of Greenville, Kieran Noel Dias of Orangeburg, SC and Aidan Clare Dias of Greenville; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Mark Dias in 1999; a grandson, Justin Kuhlemann MacDonald in 1996; two brothers and one sister. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church with Father Aubrey McNeil officiating. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, 105 S.
