Florence McLane Ferrell Murdock, age 88, of Williamston, SC, passed away Thursday, April 1, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born July 13, 1932 in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Ralph C. McLane and Fannie Evans McLane. Florence was retired from Michelin, an avid traveler and a member of Orrville Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Tommie Lynn Ferrell, Jane Ferrell Outlaw (Wayne), and Dale Scott Ferrell (Tonya); foster daughter, Mertice Sullivan; sister, Ruth Ann Ladd; grandchildren, Ivy Thacker (Tim) and Thomas Shirley (Krista); great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ferrell, Emma Jane Ferrell, Sammie Smith, Bryant Eaton, and Faith Umland; and great-great grandchildren, Willow Thacker and Clay Whitacre. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Thomas Ferrell; second husband, Thurston Patrick Murdock; and brothers, Jack and David McLane. The funeral service will be held Monday, April 5, 2021 at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Dr. Wendell Bannister and Rev. Larry Sizemore officiating.
