FLOYD I. BROWN August 6, 1937 - November 13, 2012 IVA, SC Floyd Ishom Brown, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at his residence. Born in Hart County, GA, he was the son of the late Newt Brown and the late Selma Evans Brown. He retired from textiles after 36 years of service. He was a member at Calvary Baptist Temple. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Linda Turner Brown of the home; daughters, Glenda McCall and her husband Matt and Christie Green, both of Iva, SC; brothers, Hamp Brown of Elberton, GA, and Paul Brown of Anderson; sisters, Virginia Woodall, Linda Haygood, Bobbie Tucker all of Hartwell, GA, Frances Bryant of Anderson, SC and Viola Churchill of Clayton, GA; three grandchildren, Ryan McCall and his wife Savannah, Cody McCall and his wife Kayla and Cortney Green; four great-grandchildren, Kylie, Ethan, Alli and Carson; and one expected great-grandchild, Braelyn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Monroe, Elon, Charles, Frank and J.C. Brown. The Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Iva City Cemetery. Reverend Charles Foster will officiate. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home.
