FLOYD C. MAINOUS March 9, 1942 - November 19, 2012 ANDERSON, SC Floyd Clayton Mainous, age 70, of Anderson, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2012, at his residence. Born in Booneville, KY, he was the son of the late William Conely Mainous and the late Cora Heard Mainous. He graduated from the Owlsley County High School in KY and then attended electronic school in Atlanta, GA. He retired from the Meritta Bread and Flowers Bakery where he was a route manager. He was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church where he was the Men's Club President and was an United Methodist Lay Speaker. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Owen Mainous of the home; a son, Bill Mainous of Anderson, SC; and a brother, Billy Mainous of Hamilton, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Reverend Edward Mainous and Don Mainous. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, November 23, 2012, from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm. The funeral service will be held in The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 pm with Reverend Barry Cannon officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
