FORREST WARNERJuly 3, 1918 - March 23, 2007ANDERSON, SCMr. Forrest Palmer Warner, age 88, husband of Gail Crawford Warner of Anderson, SC, died Friday, March 23, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Paducah KY on July 3, 1918, Mr. Warner was a son of the late Dr. C.G. Warner Sr. and the late Emma Hinton. He attended the Texas A & M University. He was a retired mechanical engineer for the Nabisco in Philadelphia, PA. After his retirement, he moved to Anderson in 1982. Mr. Warner was a United States Army veteran stationed in New Guinea during WWII. He was a beloved husband and father.Surviving are his wife, Gail Crawford Warner of the home; sons, William 'Bill' C. Warner of Greenville, SC and Gregory Warner of Oregon; daughters, Michele Warner of Oregon, Patricia Chambers of Indiana, and Sheila Green of Texas; step-children, Chris Stowe of the home, Tommy Davis of Cape May, NJ, and Debbie Baker of Virginia; sisters, Miriam Schrader of Washington, DC and Norma Bement of Las Vegas, NV. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and beloved friends, Lorraine Sozansky and Kathy Riggins.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Corrine Myers Warner and his brothers, Charles Warner Jr., and John Warner.A Crypt Side Service will be held at Forest Lawn Mausoleum on Monday, March 26, 2007 at 2:00 pm with Military Honors.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Anderson Humane Society, 235 Camson Road, Anderson, SC 29625.A message of condolence may be sent to the family by visitingwww.mcdougaldfuneralhome.comTHE MCDOUGALD FUNERAL HOME is in charge of the arrangements.
