FRANCES STAMPS HAWKINS BAILEYANDERSON, SCMrs. Frances Stamps Hawkins Bailey, of 905 Bowden Road, Anderson, SC, died Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Hartwell, GA, she was a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Stamps and Mary Sanders Stamps. She was retired from the Anderson Memorial Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star and a former Girl Scout Leader. She was a member of Orrville Baptist Church.Survivors include sons, Donald Hawkins and his wife, Brenda and Terry Hawkins and his wife, Carole, all of Anderson, SC; a daughter, Judy Hix and her husband, George of Columbia, SC; brothers, Clarence Stamps of Greenville, SC and Pete Stamps of Panama City, FL; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dwight Edward Hawkins and second husband, Rudolph Bailey; two brothers, Harry and Porter Stamps and a sister, Quillie King. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2005 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Dr. Wendell Bannister and the Rev. Brent Armstrong. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Anderson, SC.The family will receive friends at funeral home on Thursday, December 15, 2005 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the home of her son, Terry Hawkins, 414 Carole Avenue, Anderson, SC.Flowers are optional.
