FRANCES C. BROADWELL November 17, 1920 - October 1, 2012 Frances Crenshaw Broadwell, age 91, of 1017 Bowman Avenue, went home to be with Her Lord on Monday, October 1, 2012, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late O. H. Crenshaw and the late Myrtle Bane Crenshaw. For approximately 50 years, she was the loving wife of the late Henry L. Broadwell until his death in 1990. Mrs. Broadwell was retired from Equinox Mill where she was employed for almost 50 years as a spinner. Frances was a devoted and faithful member of Oakwood Baptist Church. Survivors include 2 brothers, Bill Crenshaw of Anderson and Delray Crenshaw and his wife, Betty, of Goose Creek, SC; 2 special nephews who provided care for Mrs. Broadwell during her period of declining health, Michael Hilley and his wife, Cindy, of Lancaster, SC, and Gregory Dean Martin and his wife, Donna, of Anderson; a number of nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and her husband, Henry, Frances was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Martin. A graveside service celebrating the life of Mrs. Frances Broadwell will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2012, at 2 PM, at New Silver Brook Cemetery, with Rev. Jeff Bartlet and Mr. Mike Davis officiating. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at New Silver Brook Cemetery following the service.
