Frances Hazel Martin Burton, age 93, passed away on April 7, 2016, at the Garden House. Born in Anderson, SC, on June 10, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Albert Martin and the late Tommie Seigler Martin. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Calhoun Falls. She is survived by her son, Wayne Burton and his wife Paula, of Greenwood, SC; a daughter, Patricia B. Meredith and her husband Nathan, of Anderson, SC; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Eugene "Gene" Burton; a son, Bryan Burton; three brothers; and one sister. The Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Jerry Dalton officiating.
