Frances Elizabeth Hall Campbell, age 89, of Anderson, SC, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Garden House of Anderson. Born May 26, 1934, in Belton, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jack Hall and Mallie Elizabeth Haynie Hall. She was married for 61 years to Herbert H. Campbell until his death in 2016. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Campbell; and brothers, Charles and Norman Hall. Frances was retired from Gallant-Belk. She was a lifelong woman of faith, serving in many churches and recently a member of Varennes Heights Baptist Church and charter member of Unity Baptist Church in Starr. She was also a past worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was an excellent seamstress, loved baking cakes, crocheted, and did Swedish embroidery. She was always kind and a servant to others. Frances cherished her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. She was an asset to her community, greatly loved and fondly remembered by all. She is survived by her children, Diane Wagner (Paul) of Anderson, B. Dale Campbell of Anderson, Donald H. Campbell of Anderson County, Doris C. Malcolm of Anderson, and Deborah Dukes of Pendleton; brother, David Hall (Clara) of Anderson; sister, Carolyn Martin of Williamston; grandchildren, Jessica Rushton (Geoff), Sean Campbell (Caroline), Evan Campbell, Beth Wagner, Daniel Wagner (Rachel), Dylan Dukes, Dalton Dukes, Morgan Caldwell (Will), and Ryan Malcolm; and great grandchildren, Wesley Rushton and Sadie Campbell. The family will receive friends Friday, July 14, 2023, from 11:30 am until 12:45 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm in the Chapel with Dr. Doug Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Family and friends may pay their respects and sign the Guest Register at the funeral home during normal operating hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. The family will be at their respective homes.
