CHAPMANNOVEMBER 17, 1922 - June 30, 2009ANDERSON, SC ' Mrs. Frances Sanders Chapman, age 86, former resident of 309 Woodfern Circle, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born on November 17, 1922, in Franklin County, GA and grew up in Danielsville and Hartwell, she was a daughter of the late Clovis Sanders and Ada Winn Sanders. She was a graduate of Hartwell High School. Mrs. Chapman was very instrumental in the operation of her late husband's business, Tom Chapman Tire Service. She was an active member of the A.L.T.R.U.S.A. Club and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Anderson.She is survived by her four sons: Booth Chapman and wife Georgeanne of Nashville, TN, Bill Chapman and wife Susan of Conway, SC, David Chapman and wife Suzanne of Anderson, SC, and Steve Chapman and wife Linda of Cape Girardeau, MO; a sister, Golda McGill and husband Jerry of Colorado Springs, CO; ten grandchildren: Tom Chapman and wife Alice, & John Barret Chapman and wife Amy, all of Nashville, TN, Cooper Ball and husband Chris of Little River, SC, Clif Chapman and Tab Chapman and wife Michelle, all of Conway, SC, Will Chapman and wife Sarah, & Fran Hammond and husband Josh, all of Florence, SC, Amy Fox and husband Sam, Beth Chackes and husband Andrew, all of St. Louis, MO, and Ginny Chapman, of Cape Girardeau, MO; and ten great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, her husband of fifty-seven years, William Thomas 'Tom' Chapman; and two brothers, Emmett Sanders and Esco Clarence Sanders; and an infant grandson, William Albert Chip Chapman, Jr., predeceased her.The Funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 3, 2009, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Dr. James R. Thomason and the Reverend Dr. Lawrence Webb. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
