Frances Tucker Gray, 91, of Iva, SC died on Sunday morning, April 23, 2017 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC. She was the daughter of the late Horace and Kathleen Bell Tucker Randolph born on October 28th, 1925 in Anderson, SC. Ms. Gray served as a Registered Nurse at Owens Corning Fiberglass Company until she retired. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Iva and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. Ms. Gray was also a member of the Eastern Star. Surviving are her two special sisters-in-law: Gail A. Tucker and Joyce S. Tucker and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Ms. Gray was preceded in death by her husband: Laylon Everette Gray; two brothers: Jerry W. Tucker and William R. Tucker; and a sister: Laurita Tucker Pruitt; and a special aunt: Pearl Bell of the home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 4:00pm in the Iva City Cemetery with the Reverends Jerry Gray and Paul Pinson officiating. The Gray family will receive friends from 3:00pm until 4:00pm prior to the service on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Iva City Cemetery. At other times the family will be at their respective homes.
