ANDERSON, SC--Mrs. Frances Jean Brown Green, 83, of Watson Avenue, Anderson, SC, wife of the late Morton E. Green, died Friday, April 21, 2006 in Virginia.Born in Elbert County, GA on June 25, 1922, Mrs. Green was the daughter of the late Robert Eugene Brown and Fannie Mae Harris Brown. She was the retired owner and operator of Jean's Junior Bootery and was a graduate of the Anderson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the Senior Follies, the Red Hat Society, and the Happy Feet Cloggers. Mrs. Green was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Yvonne Green Griggs and her husband, Thomas G. Griggs of Fairfax, VA and two granddaughters, Ki Griggs Buursink and her husband, Arnold and Sallie Griggs Cornelius and her husband, Richard.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Cecil Brown.
