ANDERSON, SC ' Frances King Hamilton, age 87, of 703 College Avenue passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2009, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on April 2, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Max B. King and Blanche Ellison King. Mrs. Hamilton was a graduate of Anderson Girl's High School and attended Anderson Junior College. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Anderson.Survivors include her children: son, Phil Singleton and wife Caroline G. Singleton; son, Stacy Lee Hamilton and wife Harriet M. Hamilton; grandchildren: Ken Singleton, Jim Singleton, Max Singleton, Lee Hamilton, and Lauren H. Jackson; great grandchildren: Sabrina, Preston, and Bryson Singleton; sisters: Jeanne Ashley, Brenda Saylors, and Sherry Hazzard; and brothers: Don King and Larry King.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, H.G. 'Bo' Hamilton, and a brother, Maxie King, Jr.A Graveside Service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park conducted by the Reverend Dr. James R. Thomason.
