She attended Girls' High School and for many years, she worked in textiles and was also a beautician.Survivors include her husband of the home; son, James W. 'Jim' Vaughn and his wife, Dianne Wilbanks Vaughn of Anderson; daughter, Pat Vaughn Addison and her husband Randal of Greenville; brother, James Turner of Anderson; sisters, Eileen Cheek of Greenville, Ellen English of Belton and Bonnie Wicker of Anderson; four grandchildren, Janet Addison, Lindsay Neely and her husband, Robert, Ross Vaughn and his wife, Cammie, all of Greenville and Leanne Vaughn of Anderson.She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, James Arthur Vaughn, Jr.; sisters, Ruby Crocker, Annie Mae Perry, Nellie Sue Wicker, Doris Murray and Kathleen Turner.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Dr. Kirt Mitchell.
