FRANCES HOSKINS RAMSEY May 1, 1935 - April 24, 2012 Frances Hoskins Ramsey, age 76, of 130 Cedar Road, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 24, 2012. Born in Walhalla, SC, she was the daughter of the late George Shead and the late Alma Smith Shead. Frances was formerly employed as a spinner with Wamsutta and as a nursing assistant at Ellenburg Nursing Home. She was a member of Spiritual Fellowship Holiness Church and was very faithful in her walk with God. In addition to her husband, Bobby Ramsey, she is survived by her children, Palmer Hoskins and his wife Delores, James Hoskins, Jackie Fielding, Sherry Hoskins, and Roy Hoskins; brother, George; sisters, Jean, Nancy, Vera, Betty, Evanell, Beatrice, Dorothy, Grace, and Peggy; 26 grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband Fred Hoskins; a daughter, Teresa Hoskins; sisters, Irene, Mildred, Lulabell, Gladys, and Mary; and brothers, Willis, Buford, and Ray. The Funeral Service honoring the life of Mrs. Ramsey will be held on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 4:00pm at The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Freddie Fielding and Reverend Curtis Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family is at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 6:30pm until 8:30pm.
