Frances StewartJuly 12, 1936-January 15, 2010 Anderson, SC- Mrs. Frances Wicker Stewart, age 73, wife of the late Lucious Junior Stewart, of Rosewood Avenue, died Friday, January 15, 2010 at Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Eli and Mattie Rumsey Wicker. She was a homemaker and attended Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors include her daughter, Patsy Ann Thompson of Anderson; grandson, Brian Thompson (Kim); three great-grandchildren, Makala, Austin and Ashlyn Thompson; brother Fred Wicker of Townville. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by seven brothers, Buster, J.C., Melvin, Albert, J.E., Ernest and Sam Wicker, Jr.; two sisters, I. V. Richey and Annie Porter. The Funeral Service will be held at 3:30pm on Monday, January 18, 2010 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends Brent Lollis and Tommy Wooten. Interment will follow in New Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will be at the home of her daughter, 1811 Green Street in Anderson and will receive friends on Sunday from 6pm-8pm at the funeral home.
