FRANCES "FRANKIE" WHEELER October 17, 1939 - August 5, 2013 After spending 73 years with family and friends and sharing her adventures and travels with everyone she knew along her journey, Frankie departed this world to begin her next journey through the universe to explore more adventures on Monday, August 5, 2013 upon her death at MUSC in Charleston. She was the daughter of the late Mitchell and Monteen Wheeler. She is survived by a brother, Robert "Chig" Wheeler and his wife, Sue, and a sister, Jean Motes and her husband, Johnny "Big Brother." Frankie is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as her extended and loved family in Norfolk, VA, where she resided for about 30 years. Frankie did not want to have any service or visitation; instead she wants everyone to just have a get together at a later time and share memories with their families of the time they spent with her. Frankie requested that contributions in her memory be made to MUSC, 171 Ashley Avenue, Charleston, SC 29425.
