Frances Elizabeth Todd Woody, age 91, formerly of Refuge Road, Pendleton, SC, passed away on Friday, October, 14, 2016, at Brookdale Spring Arbor in Rock Hill, SC. Born on August 13, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Joe Master Todd and the late Bonnie Howard Todd. She worked as a weaver in textiles where she later retired. She was a faithful member of La France Church of God. She is survived by her children, Steve Woody (Landra) of Sandy Springs, SC, and Cheryl Pettit (Ray) of Rock Hill, SC; brother, Lamar Todd; sisters, Margaret Whitman and Rachel Fowler; grandchildren, Amanda Bryant (Chris), Eric Woody (Jennifer), John Pettit and Paul Pettit (Ashley); and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Lunsford Woody; and a sister, Mildred Hunnicutt. The Funeral Service will be held at the La France Church of God on Monday, October 17, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverends Roger Allison and James Shealy officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens, Clemson, SC.
