Holley and Dolly Hayes Holley,Mrs. Wright worked in the textile industry at Orr Mill for 54 years, was an avid gardener and amember of Orrville Baptist Church for over 60 years. Known as Billie to her family and closefriends, she was a shining example of the traditional virtues of faith, loyalty, honesty and hard work. She suffered great adversity during the Great Depression and endured the absence of her husband for several years while he served his country in combat in World War II.Mrs. Wright survived her four brothers and sisters and remained forever conscious of her role asfamily matriarch, always striving to remain engaged with her nephews and nieces and theirfamilies. Her last months were typically characterized by her fierce and courageous battle to fight her physical and medical obstacles, all the while retaining her grace and sense of humor. She will long be remembered for her strength, her candor, and her macaroni and cheese.Mrs. Wright is survived by a son, Joseph Dennis Bolt and his wife Catherine Wills Bolt ofColumbia, SC; two grandchildren, Joseph Bryan Bolt and his wife Heather of Simpsonville, SC, and Mary Beth Bolt Campbell and her husband Alexander of Columbia, SC; as well as two great-grandchildren, Rebecca and Hayden Bolt. She is also survived by her loving and caring daughter-in-law, Carolyn Pearson Bolt.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wright is predeceased by her husbands, Joseph Roy Bolt andGrady Wright; and her son, Jerry Douglas Bolt.The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of TheMcDougald Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Wendell Bannister. Interment will follow in NewSilver Brook Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home.The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Summit Place and Ark Hospice fortheir professional and loving care of Mrs. Wright.
