Frank McCown Dobbs, Sr., age 81, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022. Born January 13, 1941, in Miami, FL, he was the son of the late A.C. Dobbs and Sybil Pruitt Dobbs. Frank served his country in the United States Air Force Reserve. He enjoyed time on Lake Hartwell and working in the yard. He proudly served the Anderson County Sheriff's Office for 25 years where he retired. He was also a member of Truth Tabernacle Baptist Church. He is survived by his sons, Frank M. Dobbs, Jr. (Angie), and Aaron A. Dobbs (Ashley); and six grandchildren, Kyle, Nathaniel (Taylor), Hayden, Sarah, and Dakota Dobbs, and Maddison Parnell (Wade). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret D. Metz. A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 27, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev.
