Frank Edward Huntsinger, age 85, of Anderson, SC, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Rainey Hospice House.
Born July 6, 1936, in Anderson, he was the son of the late Claude C. Huntsinger and Lois Tinsley Huntsinger.
Frank was a 1954 graduate of Boys High and a 1966 graduate of Clemson University earning a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was in the military police at Fort Gordon, GA. Frank was retired from Gulf Oil Refinery of Port Arthur, TX, and was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his sisters, Caroline Carlton and Edna McKee; nieces, Paula McAbee, Belinda Huntsinger, and Betsy Dixon; and nephews, Bryan Nixon, Brad Carlton, and David McKee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Huntsinger; and sister, Mary Nixon.
A cryptside service will be held Monday, August 23, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Cy Rogers officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621 or the charity of one's choice.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kyle Nelson and his staff, the staff at Dominion Senior Living of Anderson, and the staff at Hospice of the Upstate for the care provided to Frank.
