Frank Jefferson, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Easley, SC, he was the son of the late George Frasier Jefferson and the late Delma Lee Couch Jefferson. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1951 until 1956 stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He retired as a supervisor with Owens-Corning with more than 34 years of service. Frank was a member of Varennes Heights Baptist Church. Those left to cherish his memory include Barbara Metcalf; two daughters, Sandi J. Campbell and her husband Victor, of Simpsonville, SC and Terri Shirley Carter, of Anderson, SC; nine grandchildren, Haley McDowell (Jason), Megan Morton, Beau Campbell (Mary Ashlee), Hunter Campbell, Luke Campbell (Lauren), Katie, Dylan, Jessica, and Elliott Jefferson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Stacy Frank Jefferson; a twin sister, Frances Marian Reese; three sisters, Dolly Nixon, Ruth Stark, and Martha Couch; two brothers, Robert Allen Jefferson and George Frasier Jefferson, Jr. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Kirt Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
