Frank Thomas Lark, Sr., age 79, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 at his home. Born in Anderson, SC on August 11, 1938, he was the son of the late Charlie Leroy Lark, Sr. and the late Ruth Elizabeth McLeskey Lark. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Michelin after 25 years of service. Frank loved many things, among them was camping, racing, Gamecock football, and watching blue birds. But most of all he loved his family and he loved the Lord. He was a member of Middleton Road Baptist Church for more than 30 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Becky Lark; two brothers, Larry Lark and his wife Doris, and Earl Lark and his wife Clara; two sisters, Lora Coleman and Ruby McGee and her husband Cecil; and one granddaughter, Lindsey Marie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Frank Thomas Lark, Jr. and a brother, Charlie Lark, Jr. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Archie Sharpe and Reverend Butch Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.
