MANLEYJANUARY 28, 1922 - July 1, 2007 PENDLETON, SC Mr. Frank Lee Manley, age 85, husband of the late Dorothy Coleman Manley passed away on Sunday, July 01, 2007 at Richard M. Campbell Veteran's Nursing Home. Born on January 28, 1922 in Franklin County, Georgia, he was a son of the late John Tom Manley and Laura Carey Manley. Mr. Manley was a United States Navy Veteran having served during World War II. Following a career in textiles in La France, Frank owned and operated Manley's Exxon Station until his retirement in 1980. Mr. Manley was a member of Barnette's Grove Cathedral of Love and the Pendleton American Legion Post #113, of which he was Past Commander. He was also a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. Mr. Manley is survived by four sons: John E. Manley of Carson, California, Jimmy L. Manley, Jerry F. Manley, and Jacky R. Manley, all of Pendleton, SC; two sisters: Jessie Mae Reynolds of Piedmont, SC and Mozell Brown of Pendleton, SC; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren also survive. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Manley was predeceased by one brother, S. J. Manley and five sisters: Jenny Manley, Elizabeth Kelly, Doskie Burdette, Allie Crowe, and Mary Jane Lanier; and two grandchildren, Randy and Alan Manley. A Graveside Service with full Military Honors will be at 11:30am on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Memory Gardens with the Reverend Bob Hicks and the Reverend Mike Cothran officiating. The family will be at the home of Jackie R. Manley, 3031 Refuge Road, Central. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
