Francis Raymond Rothmann, age 85, of Anderson, SC, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born July 5, 1937, in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Francis Eugene Rothmann and Emma Fuess Rothmann. Frank was a graduate of New York City Community College where he received a Bachelor of Engineering degree. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a volunteer for Habitat to Humanity. Frank was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where he sang in the choir. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Pedrini Rothmann; son, Michael Rothmann (Sandy) of Anderson, SC; daughters, Lori Cheek (William) of Eagle River, AK, and Sharon Brooks of Iva, SC; grandchildren, Stephen Cheek, Robert Cheek (Megan), Kaitlyn Gantt (Josh), Meagan Brooks, Brandon Brooks, and Ashley Rothmann; and great grandchildren, Robin Gantt, Lucas Williford, Khloe Williford, and Everly Gantt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunts, Margaret Fuess and Ruth Rothmann. The family will receive friends Friday, August 19, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The funeral service will follow visitation at the church at 1:00 p.m. with Fr. Philip Gillespie officiating. Entombment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Columbarium.
