PETE HOLDEN June 3, 1932 - January 16, 2006ANDERSON, SCMr. Frankie Pete Holden, age 73, husband of Carolyn Gosnell Holden of 123 Sanders Street, Anderson, SC, died Monday, January 16, 2006 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Anderson County, SC on June 3, 1932, Mr. Holden was a son of the late Charlie E. Holden and Eunice Palmer Holden. He was retired from Wamsutta Mills with 30 years of service and was of the Methodist Faith.Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Gosnell Holden of the home; sons, Tim Holden and his wife, Sandra and Jeff Holden and his wife Aneida, all of Anderson, SC; daughters, Robin Strickland of Anderson, SC, Karen Holden of Belton, SC and Lynn Carter of Anderson, SC; a brother, Charlie Eddie Holden Jr., of Anderson, SC; sisters, Christine Black of Anderson, SC, Mary Black of Pendleton, SC and Sue Giles of Anderson, SC; ten grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, John L. Holden, Rev. Walter Holden and Prue Holden and two sisters, Lillian Holden and Juanita Holden.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Sam Chasteen.
