FRANK EVANS April 4, 1933 - July 8, 2007ANDERSON, SCMr. Franklin Roosevelt Evans, age 74, of 315 Corning Street, Anderson, SC, beloved husband of Nancy Loftis Evans and loving father of Angela Evans Whitlock and Annette Evans Miles, died Sunday, July 8, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Westminster, SC on April 4, 1933, Mr. Evans was the son of the late William Walter Evans and Lizzie McCrackin Evans. He retired from Patrick B. Harris Psychiatric Hospital Environmental Services and was also a former employee of Anderson School District Five, Quality Foods, and Abney Mills. He was of the Church of God Faith. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Loftis Evans of the home; daughter, Angela Evans Whitlock of Anderson and Annette Evans Miles of Simpsonville; three grandchildren, Nicole Evans of Charleston, Jessica Whitlock and Kimberly Whitlock, both of Anderson; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Vaughn of Anderson; half-brothers, Walter Evans of Clinton and Kenny Evans of Spartanburg and half-sister, Rosa Evans Crocker of Spartanburg.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverends Sam Duncan and Curtis Lanier officiating.
