Fred Hill Anderson, SC Fred James Hill, age 77, husband of Jean Sanders Hill, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 5, 2014. Born in Tampa, FL on December 18, 1936, he was the son of the late J. Lloyd Hill and the late Mildred V. Hill. He was a 1954 graduate of Boy's High and received a degree from Tri County Technical College. Fred proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was the co-owner of Hill Battery and Sales for many years and had also worked at Belton Industries. He enjoyed working on lawn mowers and small engine repair projects. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Honea Path. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, , Freda Kelley and her husband Barry and Cynthia H. Vickery, all of Anderson, Jim Hill and his wife Kelly, of Knoxville, TN; a sister, Jean H. Feeko, of Anderson, a brother, Mike Hill and his wife Peggy, of Anderson, SC; seven grandchildren, Dr. Emily K. Flores and her husband, Nathan, Matthew Kelley and his wife Meg, Dustin, Cynthia Jean and Chandler Vickery, and Luke and Levi Hill; and one great-grandchild, Ezra Flores. The Graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Old Silver Brook Cemetery with Reverend Tab Scarborough, and Reverend Herbert Moore officiating. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the cemetery from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
