Fred J. Richards Jr., 87, of Anderson, SC passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Summit Place of Anderson. Born September 27, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Fred J. Richards, Sr. and the late Helen Mosher Ramberg. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Cecelia Kurth Richards. Fred was a sheet metal worker at Livingston & Co. for more than 20 years and was also co-owner of Kurth Seafood in Philadelphia, PA. He was a member of St. John Neumann Church in New Cape May, NJ. He is survived by his children, Fred Richards, III of Villas, NJ, Susan Pennetti (Charles) of Donald, SC, Rob Richards (Monica) of Blandon, PA; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10 am-11am Friday, June 29, 2018 at St. John Neumann Church in North Cape May, NJ. The funeral mass will follow in the sanctuary at 11am.
