Obituary

Fred Lee Sheridan, age 87, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Linley Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Born in Anderson County on September 29, 1930, he was the son of the late Sandy Lee Sheridan and the late Eunice Lee Felker Sheridan. He proudly served his country in the National Guard. Fred worked as an Auto and Fender repairman throughout his career. He was with McLees Garage for 20 years, later at CMS Garage, and finally he owned his own repair shop until his retirement. He was a member of West Anderson Church of God. He is survived by his two sons, Fred Michael Sheridan and his wife Desiree Katrina, of Six Mile, SC and Terry L. Sheridan and his wife Jeannie, of Anderson, SC; 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, James Sheridan. The Graveside Service will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Reverend Mark Daniel officiating. The family will be at the home of his son, Terry Sheridan, 6005 Wild Cherry Ct., Anderson, and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.
