EILEEN BASCUE BURNETTMarch 21, 1917 - September 20, 2007 ANDERSON, SCMrs. Freda Eileen Sturm Bascue Burnett, age 90, of 403 Azalea Drive, Anderson SC, died Thursday, September 20, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Shinnston, West Virginia on March 21, 1917, Mrs. Burnett was the daughter of the late Ray E. Strum and Edna Barrett Strum. She was retired from the Anderson Memorial Hospital, now AnMed Health Medical Center as a Registered Nurse after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church.Survivors include her son, Donald William Bascue of Colorado; daughters, Nancy Glenn and Gwen Stokes, both of Anderson, SC; half-brother, Richard W. Wild of Florida. Nine grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter also survive.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Don Bascue and Homer D. Burnett. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2007 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverend Steve Silvey officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 22, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the home of Nancy Glenn, 208 Ora Lane, Anderson, SC.
