Fredda Alewine, age 67 , passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015, at her residence. Born in Anderson, SC on May 20, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Milton Lafayette McLeskey and the late Faye Smith McLeskey McCullough. She retired after many years of service as a X-Ray Technician for Anderson Orthopedic and AnMed Health. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Fredda enjoyed camping, quilting and most of all her beautiful grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Larry Alewine, of Anderson, SC; son, Travis Dwanyne Alewine (Becky), of Chirstiana, PA; daughter, Shelli Alewine White (Nevitte), of Anderson, SC; three brothers, Milton Dwanye McLeskey, of Evans, GA, Eddie McCullough of Anderson and Mark McLeskey, of Iva, SC; two sisters, Judy Betterly, of Piedmont, SC and Debby Cates, of Simpsonville, SC; good friends, Larry and Saralyn Kinley, of Iva, SC; and six grandchildren; Zachary Christian, Sadie Alewine, Ian and Ryan White, Desiree and Tony McDonald. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Monday, August 31, 2015, at 3:30 p.m. officiated by the Rev. Jerry Gray. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
