Fred Arnold Simpson, Jr., age 58, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at his residence. Born in Anderson, SC, on July 3, 1956, he was the son of the late Fred A. Simpson, Sr. and the late Valera Adams Simpson. Freddy was formerly employed with Gaines Mechanical and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Sue Nelson Simpson; a son, Randall Simpson and his wife Becky, of Starr, SC; a sister, Dale Ward and her husband, Tony, of Anderson, SC; and one granddaughter, Gracie Simpson; and his loving pet, "Kizzi". The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Poplar Spring Baptist Church with Reverend James Rodgers officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
