WHITE NOVEMBER 1, 1928 - June 8, 2007 ANDERSON, SC Mr. Furman Ray White, age 78, of 107 Green Forest Drive, husband of the late Evelyn Mary Partain White, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2007 at the Hospice House in Anderson. Born in Anderson, SC on November 1, 1928, Mr. White was a son of the late Dr. E.C. and Mamie Cathey White. He was a 1946 graduate of Boys' High School and retired after twenty-six years of service from Merita Bakery and after fifteen years of service from Little General Food Stores. He is survived by his two sons, Philip W. White and wife, Glenda Yon White, and Steve R. White, of Anderson; sisters: Tommy Jean Morrison of Belton and Jo Ann Grady of Hickory, North Carolina. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Ivey White, Olivia White, and Krystal White, all of Anderson and Jessica White of Rock Hill, SC. In addition to his wife, parents and siblings, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Jan Fitchett. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverend Gordon Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Monday, June 11, 2007. The family is at the home of Philip W.
